Description -Kharask-

Hey guys, this is another character related post. I'm posting a character description updated with some of his new gear.

Kharask stands 6'8" tall, and weighs over 300 pounds. Being a dragonborn he appears to be a draconic humanoid covered in dull rust colored scales. Brighter scarlet scales cover his forearms, and shins, the fronts of his thighs, his shoulders and the top of his head. Many long black horns fold back from the back of his head to his shoulders. His face is very draconic, but a bit wider than the average dragonborn. His eyes are blood red with no iris or pupil, and hard to make out sometimes from scales on his face. His mouth is noticable because it is blackened similar to that of a dessert lizards, although the blackening comes from an inner heat in the dragonborn. Indeed, flames can be seen to flicker up from the fixed nostrils on the front of his snout, and steam pours from his mouth in cold weather. His features are thick and muscled. He doesnt seem to have much dexterity in his limbs, instead they seemed crafted for war. His fingers and thumb are tipped with powerful black claws, as do his feet, which ne never adorns. As far as unofficial gear goes, Kharask has some clothing which shows a bit of his tribe like nature. Black cords are wrapped around his ankles up to the shin, as well as on his fore arms. the cords seem to have some random charms attached to them. Those looking closely will notice a few teeth, but also odd looking stones, and possibley jewelry. The ornaments are worn only on the cords near on his shins, the thin leather cords around his forearms seem to be in a pattern, those observing can tell it probably relates to a position or job that Kharask holds, or has held. Officially the dragonborn wears a suit of chainmail armor, there is a thin leather vesting underneath it, but only the chainmail is visible. The mail covers his chest, but leaves his arms and legs open, as the dragonborn have thick scales on those areas of there body, and usually only cover them with heavier metal armors. He does wear a loin cloth, as well as tight leather wrappings around his thighs, all the way down to his knees. He changes these regularly as they become slashed up and coated in blood. He wears no helmet, but has added a shield to his combat gear. The shield is a small wooden disc, fitted with a metal rim and bracing. Its a typical human crafted shield, and looks neither shoddy, nor magnificent. On his side, off of a crude leather belt he holsters his new weapon, a warhammer, crafted from a fine, dark metal. The hammer looks heavy, and Kharask seems to have a greater grip on this weapon than he did with his maul. At some times, it appears as if kharask strains to hold the weapon in his hands, as if it is ready leap out on its own. The head of the weapon is simple and brutal, dwarven made with thin bars leading to heavy heads. The damage end of the weapon is extremely dark, and those looking at it can sense a distortion around the weapon if they look at it long enough, as if waves of force are pulsing from it. around his neck the dragonborn wears a simple copper pendant, a red jewel shining brightly from the center of the piece. The medalion is hung around his neck from a simple copper chain, and looks both mundane, and cheap. However, those seeing him fighting before have noticed that as he moves around the battlefield and engages the enemy, the center seems to glow a dull deep red. On his back the dragonborn carries his backpack, its slung tight over his shoulders and secured around his waist. Its obviously full, and obviously well used. At the base of the backpack is his tent and blanketroll. Although normally heavy and awkward, it appears small and uncumbersome on the dragonborn. Tied off on the side of his back pack is a long quiver filled with several javelins. Kharask also carries a simple dwarven made throwing hammer looped on the left side of his belt. Also on the left side of his belt is a small pale leather pouch which he keeps his coin in. Kharasks movements are slow, powerful and precise, uncannily reptilian. As a dragonborn he does not smile, and its hard to read his facial expressions, since the dragonborn dont have the muscle work in there faces that most other humanoid races have. Those close to him, such as allies and friends, have noted that he emits very subtle scents from time to time, and these might be an indicator as to his moods, but deciphering them would take quite a while to perfect. The easiest way it seems to tell kharasks mood, or any dragonborns mood, is to simply ask. Honest and proud, Kharask never hesitates to show his displearsure or his appreciation of a situation or event.

Ok, hope you guys enjoyed. I'll have more soon I bet.
