Two Scars Company - Official!-

(Another Character related post)

players please read! this will have some relevance, as kharask would have spoken with you about your general functions in the troupe before leaving.

Kharask - Leader and spokesperson of the Two Scars. Kharask will be in charge of maintaining the troupes numbers, allies, and individual members. It will be his responsability to deny or accept contracts. Other members will be allowed to bring requests to his notice, but kharask has the final say as to what is denied and accepted. Note, that the Two Scars wont necessarily have to have a contract to adventure. If a possibility for spoils shows itself, the company may just take independent action to cash in on the oppurtunity. Kharask will also maintain the Two Scars allies as well. There one ally at this time is Vadrier the alchemist, who has offered the troupe an ongoing contract on future alchemical findings. Kharask will be the sole person involved in handing out the monetary spoils of adventures. (In game terms, phil is in charge of tracking and distributing treasure.)

Azriel - Azriel is the Two Scars official scout. It is his duty to study and memorize maps and areas that they have been, and are going. He will be the map carrier, and will be in charge of plotting courses and journeys through unknown areas. Azriel will be in charge of making sure the troupe is properly equipped for journeys. Making sure they buy proper rations, procure winter blankets, tents, alchemical precautions to certain hazards etc.

Merric - Merric is a Two Scars member. He has no official position, but it is his sole duty to check for ambushes, traps, and for overcoming obstacles. Kharask has noted he has an eye for trouble, and so is going to make sure he puts it to use. It will also be Merrics job to infiltrate new areas and find the best inns, taverns, shops for procuring goods etc. Merric is the least agressive looking of the troupe, so Kharask feels the halfling will have better luck in new towns/cities than most.

Dalanor - Dalanor is the Two Scars official wizard. His advice will be looked to first when dealing with topics of religion, history, and the arcane. Kharask has had some doubts about the wizard in the past, but after recent conversations, he sees that the silver elf truelly wants to contribute in some way to the troupe. Kharask has a feeling that Dalanor has more powerful magics up his sleeve he's not yet used as well, so does not want to overburden the mage, keeping him well rested in case he needs to cast his rituals. (In the future he will also be in charge of supplying the troupe with magic items - at cost of course-)

Erantaelik - The drow is an official member of the Two Scars. The drow will be in charge of deciphering the function of magical items found by the party. He will also be in charge of making sure they go to the party members who will make the most of the items. he will be a second advisor to questions of general magic as well. (J, i'd like you to take over distributing magical items. you have a better sense about it than i do.)

Baerd - Baerd is an official member of the Two Scars.

Ok, thats a run down of the Two Scars company. I'll keep you guys posted as we accomplish quests and adventures.

Interesting ideed. This gives me ideas on other places in which to take the campaign

One other small point, and I make this carefully, I have always liked it when the gaming group establishes an offical adventuring party in the game, I am always scared that it will pull away from the focus of the campaign. An example, the RP involving the company was awesome, there wasn't a lot of discussion involving the events of the last adventure. If it's because the characters weren't phased by it, that's fine. I do not control, nor would I want to, player character responses, but if its the players themselves that are bored with the events and need to come up with another concept to keep the group together, then there is a problem.
What was Kharasks downtime reactions to an unknown Dragonborn knowing details of his past?

I understand what your saying. and i havent forgotten about it. Alot of his past is private though. So unless a character would inquire about it (but it was said in draconic) he wouldnt bring it up. If you want it to be more public, or planning on using that as a cornerstone to some cool rp and adventures, then i promise to put it out into rp territory. I just didnt see the oppurtunity. We should get together to talk after games, i realy dont want you to feel i'm losing focus.
